“My two trips to Spain, to study Spanish language and culture, have inspired my portfolio. While university classes were informative, my interactions with the Spanish people—through the lens or in everyday life—were truly inspirational. While photo-journalistic style is meant to captivate the view, it should also teach him or her something about Spanish culture.”
